Finding Leo - A letter from the Leo the Lobster Ambassadors

Welcome to the East Haven Chamber of Commerce BLOG!!! We have been asked to do this for a long time and this is the perfect time.

August 22nd at Amarante's we will be holding our 3rd Annual Lobsterpalooza! Last year we had a beautiful night and a huge turnout. It was the best event we have had. We hope to make this year's event even better.

We would like to introduce you to Leo the Lobster. Leo has been our mascot for the event for the past 2 years. This year we are promoting the “Finding Leo” campaign.

Leo will be visiting different Chamber Member businesses around town. Your mission will be  to find Leo and Tweet or Facebook us photos of you with Leo when you find him at the different locations.Once you have found Leo please tweet, facebook or Instagram you and Leo with the hash tag #findingLeo so we can keep up with him and his whereabouts. He is a big ham and loves being photographed.  When he gets into town he will  be blogging, here about his experiences in East Haven and hinting where he will be heading next.  Leo is a rather tall lobster. Mark at Big Prints nursed him and has taken care of him to get him to a size of  6 feet tall.  So he should be easy to find at the businesses and East Haven landmarks.

Check back here to see hints to where he will be next. He will be making his way from Maine to East Haven soon and we will make sure to let you know when he gets here.

If you would be interested in being on Leo’s list of great businesses to visit please email Jennifer Higham, the lobster limo service,  jennifer@jenniferhighamphotography.com,  or call the Chamber office. (203)467-4305. He will be getting into town very soon. Please join us on this great search for Leo!

If you are interested in sponsoring the event or you have an interest in attending please check out our website under Lobsterpalooza.  Lobsterpalooza 2012 was a huge success. We know that this year will be even better. www.easthavenchamber.com
